Habemus internet
It seems I have regular access to internet from home again, after all these last 3.5 years. It´s only slightly better than a regular dial-up connection (I mean, a dial-up connection from 10 years ago), but it´s wireless, doesn´t use the phone line, and doesn´t require my old burned out modem to work.
Everytime I stayed away from the uuuh intenets, I lose contact with much more interesting people than I could replace offline in these same periods. I feel like my social life is made of sand castles that take a lot of work to build, and only a splash of water to wash them away. For a reason I accept, but do not understand, some parts of these castles prevail, and are always there when I build a new one.
